ok....enough time in the slow lane...i am ready for my fast pace life again..i miss the excitment and stress of going to work and school..I miss it a lot. I have had enough time to relax. I think I am refreshed and ready for the next couple of years. Sometimes coming home is not relaxing. Mom does not believe in sleeping in late and laying around in pjs and not doing a thing. That is what I have been wanting. Just doing nothing. There is refreshes my body to be able to do that. Even the dogs do not believe in sleeping in. They like to wake me up as soon as they get up. Whats with beginning the day at 7 everyday. Why not postpone it and begin it at like 10 or so :)
This past week I was able to catch up with a friend from LU who I have not really chatted with in a long time. Some of you my remember her. She went to LU my freshmen year (2001-2002) and then transfered. Her name is Tammy. I remember late nights playing catch phrase with her and shari and jesse and various other people. Oh those were fun and simpler times. Things seem to be going her way. She is an office in the Coast Guard and has a wonderful boyfriend and is station in Seattle. When I go up there next week, I am going to spend some time and catch up in person with her. Friends are wonderful. I have many of them throughout these US. I love catching up with these friends. I was talking with Lisa last night and was saying that I miss LU. I dont miss the classes or the politics, but I do miss the people - the friends I have there and made there. Friends that will last a life time, friends that are more like brothers and sisters than anything else. The type of friends I miss having in springfield.
